So last weekend we went up to our almost 4 year old's room to find that every wall was plastered with crayon. Apparently when a friend was over they thought all the walls were one big canvas and that it would be fun to draw all sorts of pictures. I have heard of kids doing this but I was still a bit surprised and frustrated. (The pictures were good though!)
I recall my MIL mentioning that you can't just paint over the crayon as it many cases it comes through. So I took a look around and found a great resource on Crayola.com with tips on stain removal (http://www.crayola.com/canwehelp/staintips/index.cfm?n_id=32).
We ended up having our daughter help us clean up all the mess and it actually turned out OK. I found it humorous that Crayola had an entire section dedicated to this but was very happy when their suggestions worked.
I wanted to be sure to pass this on to everyone else as likely many of you will experience this or know someone else who needs a quick tip.
