:confused:hey im a first time mom and i need some advice i am 18 and just had my first child sara 6 wks ago and i think i may b pregnant again what do i do i havent started my period back yet and i went yesterday for tha 6 wks check up everything is fine but i thought i wouldhave started by now i quit bleeding 2 1/2 wks after i had her do u think i am?? i go dec 2 to get the iuc or iud the T thingy. i hope i start here soon HELP!!

I hope that you took your doctors orders and didnt have sex the whole 6 weeks. If not, you need to understand that your chances increase in that time of getting pregnant again. If you just had your 6 week check-up, you should start very soon if you arent pregnant. I had my six week check-up on a tuesday and started that weekend.

Keep your chin up. And call your doctor if you dont get it with in the next 2 weeks. Remember, it's "normal to be abnormal" after having a baby.:cool:

I just hit my 6 weeks on Saturday and I haven't started my period yet. My doctor gave me birth control and told me that it would probably start in a week or two once the birth control helped regulate me.

Hi. Are you breastfeeding? I didn't get my period back until my daughter was 10 months old because I breastfed her, so there's all kinds of varying times when you can get your period back. Best bet is to either go to the doctor or take a pregnancy test to make sure. Good luck! :)

Three Months After I Had My Son....i Was Late....i Took A Pg Test And It Came Back Positive. I Called The Doctor...made An Appointment. Took Blood Test....came Back Negative. She Said It Was My Hormones And Gave Me A Pill To Start. Said It Could Take Up To 10 Days For This To Work....i Started The Next Morning.
You Should Go Get Tested Before Getting Hopes Up Or Worrying.

I wouldn't worry too much, I didn't start my period until my daughter was over two months old, then I went on the Nuva Ring. I can't imagine having sex so soon, though. Of course, I had a forceps delivery...YEOUCH
