Question Help with Gassy newborn

She is the most happiest baby ever until she has to pop.She screams like it hurts her so bad,it makes me want to cry.I can tell she is uncomfortable and it hurts her and all the peditrician keeps saying is its the switching of breastmilk and formula so now for the past 3 days she has been on straight formula and there is no change, she does poop sometime 2x a day if not then only once.So i was just wondering if anyone has any helpful tips.

Hello,
Hope your baby soon settles, it's horrible to see them so upset isn't it. I have 2 boys but they weren't too windy. My sister's newborn son is 6 weeks old tomorrow and he suffers with wind too, she is mostly breastfeeding but using formula occaisionally also. You could try some baby medicine made especially for helping baby bring up their wind, infacol etc.
Hope she soon settles

Question

My daughter was extremely gassy also so I completely understand the frustration behind it all. We're currently using the drop-in bottles, making sure to push out the air out of them before feedings... and we occassionally use gas relief drops, usually before bed-time. not only that, but switching formulas seemed to be hard on her til her digestive system finally got used to it, took almost an entire thing of formula before she seemed regular... so you may want to just wait it out a little longer, may just be her getting used to the formula.
