Default Extreme Nausea and Vomiting or Hyperemesis Gravidarum?

If you are suffering from extreme nausea and vomiting with weight loss in your pregnancy, you may have Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG).
The cause of nausea in pregnancy is unknown and there is no cure. I am a scientist with joint appointments at USC and UCLA trying to find the cause of this debilitating pregnancy condition after suffering from it in 2 pregnancies, but I need women to participate in this groundbreaking study. There is no cost to you or travel needed. If you are interested in participating and are having or have had extreme nausea and vomiting that required iv fluids because you became dehydrated, you are likely to qualify to participate, and we really need you to help us make a difference for nausea treatment for the next generation of pregnant women!
Please contact me at nvpstudy@usc.edu for more information. If you feel too sick now, just contact me and put HG NOW in the subject line and I will get you in the system and contact you when you are feeling better. For more information on the study, visit:
